Mason Davey, Weston Snowboards’ co-owner, introduces the 2018-19 line-up. On their second year visiting ISPO Munich, Weston offers a solid collection full of awards that improves year after year.
Weston is definitely becoming a consolidated manufacturer in the splitboarding scene. The Colorado-based company is offering four splitboards for the next season 2018-19, covering the needs of any splitboarder getting out there. Their collection is made of the Big Chief (big mountain), Backwoods (freeride), Range (awarded Best Freestyle splitboard) and the Riva, their women’s version.
Shapes with early rise and camber underfoot that will allow you to excel in any snow conditions, now getting some improvements like tip and tail metal protectors, texture topsheet to reduce the amount of snow that sticks to it and make the board scratch resistent, and bolt-less bridge so there’s no unnecessary holes on the base, which makes it easier for waxing. All the Weston splitboards come with Karakoram ultraclips.
