Stone Topo 2022/23

This mixed split has been our best seller for years now, you don’t change a winning team. Over the years the topo has become lighter without ever losing its robustness. A splitboard needs responsiveness to relaunch or hold curves. To do this, you need to have a high-performance construction. We don’t like soft splitboards. The softer it is, the more likely you are to break it. In transition from valleys, you could break a ski in a bottleneck. To remedy this we have made some changes, taking into account feedback from the Team & customers. We fall below 3 kg, to be honest, you can feel it on the way up!

The Stone Topo is one of the French brand’s flagship boards that this year comes with increased stiffness, both in flex and torsion; one of the most remarkable differences we have spotted with regard to last year’s model or the rest of the Stone Snowboards catalog. We think this is a great improvement for this particular model. Also, regarding the weight, they have managed to stay below 3000 g in the 161cm length. Compared to last year’s model, this year’s feels much more solid without compromising the agility and maneuverability despite the generous 264cm waist width. The combination of directional shape, rocker, traditional camber and tapered tail result in a highly versatile board, that floats sweetly on deep snow, behaves well on variable snow and shows great performance on all sorts of terrain, all of that at an unbeatable price.
