Stone Mini Gun 2021/22
New baby at Stone, this shape clearly shows the will to offer always more freeride boards in the range. Surfing & snowboarding come together, that’s why this winter we released this new splitboard lighter than last year to allow a better tip roll & take full advantage of the splitboard both on the way up & down. Usually what we can criticize splitboards for is the heaviness of the skis… this will not be the case on all our new range.
Size tested: 160cm
The Stone Mini Gun is definitely a splitboard designed to have you frothing on deep powder days. However, it behaves surprisingly well on all sorts of snow, specially on mixed and hard snow, where it feels extremely solid riding on the edge. Despite having a mellow camber, this splitboard seems to run on rails, mostly due to a stiff flex & torsion and a directional shape. Carving on this splitboard is really fun, but undoubtedly, it’s in deep powder where it is in its element, both tree riding in your favourite forest, or making wide turns at super high speed in open terrain. It’s the ideal splitboard to add to your quiver for deep powder days or carving sessions in spring.
