The first thing that strikes when looking at the Ogasaka Facet is the attention to detail and a great finish. The combination of directional shape, traditional camber underfoot and nose rocker, along with the perfect balance between flex and torsion make it a great board that rides well in any kind of terrain and snow conditions. When it comes to performance, we found it to be very agile from edge to edge thanks to the mellow torsional flex, and it felt extremely solid and stable at high speed. The Facet provides great performance in any kind of terrain and conditions, it’s a true freeride beast! One of the good surprises in this year’s test, indeed. A splitboard recommended for advanced riders looking for a solid, reliable board that adapts to day/to/day conditions.
