Korua Transition Finder Split 2021/22
699,00 €
The overhauled and robust TransitionFinder splitboard is even more versatile making it the ultimate transition-magnet and a melting pot of freeride, freestyle, and carving. It’s new slimmer nose allows for a better fit into the skin-track and is particularly suitable for short to medium-long hikes within the resort or smaller touring missions. The revised shape compliments a surf-inspired riding style, while allowing you to integrate freestyle into your runs. It works great for spinning off of natural backcountry features, like cliffs and wind lips, and now holds an even better edge due to the reduced nose width. It loves side-hits, allowing for easier switch landings and takeoffs now thanks to the newly reduced amount of taper and its full diamond tail. Two extra edges on the inside and a split-specific flex pattern offer perfect grip in climb-mode and when crossing icy passages. It features Union clips, nose and tail hooks, and a Voile insert pattern (most widely used in the industry). The nose holes secure our U-Hook skin mounting system. The TransitionFinder Split is a versatile ripper in all kinds of conditions and complements many riding styles anywhere it goes!

At first glance, the Korua Transition Finder looks like a splitboard designed to provide the best performance and floatability on powder days, with a surf inspired shape, blunt nose, tapered tail and a generous waist width. However, it is an extremely versatile, adaptable board in all sorts of terrain and snow conditions thanks to the directional shape with traditional camber. Obviously, this splitboard hasn’t been designed for big mountain riding, but it is quite surprising how well it performs on mixed and hard snow, when maximum control and edge hold is required. The Transition Finder is a very solid board that feels highly stable and reactive when riding on the edge at high speed. Regarding its flex and torsión, it’s a stiff splitboard, although extremely easy to steer on the edge, and highly manoeuvrable, especially when you push up our riding rhythm. In all, a board that will delight riders with a good freestyle background, to enjoy carving sessions in your resort and, of course, to shred deep powder.
