K2 Freeloader 2021/22

Countless hours on the skin track. A healthy number of summits and ridgelines, and more pow turns than we can count. It’s all lead to this. The K2 Freeloader was built to climb faster, descend sharper, and get you further into the backcountry than any splitboard we’ve ever built.

The K2 Freeloader Splitboard package is built on the same unisex outline as our Marauder Split. A bit of taper in the tail of the Freeloader helps it sink in the deep stuff, while the wider nose stays up well above the surface and blasts through choppy snow.

The Freeloader is another of the extremely versatile boards we have tested this year. A blunt nose rocker to provide maximum floatability on powder days, plus traditional camber with a directional shape for optimal control and precision on mixed or hard snow. A splitboard to ride on all types of terrain and snow conditions. Regarding its behaviour, the K2 Freeloader is extremely easy to ride on the edge thanks to a good balance between medium flex and torsion, both on short pivoted turns and long wide turns aiming to speed up your riding. Besides, the rail system allows you to change the stance and angles to the mil in the blink of an eye. The Freeloader comes with Pomoca custom cut skins including the anchors to set them up easily.
