Fjell Snowboards’ LMT1342s is a 160 cm long directional shape splitboard and its most outstanding feat is an excellent floatability on powder. The generous nose, together with the swallow tail and the hybrid rocker camber are the perfect combination to stay afloat on deep powder days, no matter the terrain. Besides, it is also a very stable board at high speed, and it feels reliable and solid when riding mixed snow and difficult terrain. Although we didn’t expect it after a first glance, we were impressed by its versatility on any kind of terrain and snow condition. Initiating turns feels easy with the Fjell MT342s, it changes swiftly from edge to edge, feeling reactive, with a great pop. Looking at its design you would think it’s a powder specific board, but it definitely performs as an all-mountain splitboard.
