A few months back, a pretty hectic road trip took us to Saint Lary to catch up with Xavier de le Rue. We met him, and we talked about his projects, Freeride World Tour, Timeline, and the list goes on. In a few minutes, we realized we were facing not just an extraordinary rider, but also a passionate mountaineer, a down to earth guy, willing to share his experiences with all of us. Xavier, we really appreciate you sharing your time with us.
At ISPO, we met the Kloster brothers from Karakoram and Will Ritter, from Spark R&D who showed us his new stuff for 2013. Also our friends form Arbor, Gara and Roxy, who have joined the splitboarding scene. “Always searching”. This is our last issue for a never-ending season. We can always look further, go up higher, and travel down to the Southern Hemisphere searching for new challenges.
Here are more than 90 pages of splitboarding at its purest. We’ll be back soon with more new stuff and one of them is our new name for next season, www.splitboardmag.com, as well as an updated more visual design for our website and our magazine, baring the new mobile technology devices in mind.
