Here is our yearly catalog, the widest splitboarding equipment catalog you will find on the internet. For the 2014-15 we gathered 53 splitboard manufacturers, the numbers keep growing every year. We are very proud to be able to present you boards from established manufacturers like Amplid, Burton, Jones, Venture, Voile, Prior or Völkl, and also from smaller projects but with loads of progression ahead like Gara, Prowder, TahoeLab, Big Hip, or the brand new Palace Snowboards, hand-built splitboards by women for women, are a few examples. We encourage you to browse through all the pages finding the manufacturer you like the most.
The splitboard bindings market keeps growing with the Prime system from Karakoram and the brand new system coming from the French manufacturer Plum, while Spark R&D, Voile, SP and Ranger keep improving their products day by day to meet the splitboarders needs.
If you use AT boots, there’s also a page for you with the redefined Phantom bindings and the brand new Dyno DH from Spark R&D, plus the good old Voile Mtn Plate.
Many splitboard climbing skins are available at the moment. Mohair, synthetic, mix… find the material that fits the best your touring needs in the climbing skins section.
Stay dry, warm and stylish in the mountains with the high quality garments from Trew, Norrøna and Burton AK, and don’t forget to take care of your hands with Pow Gloves and your eyes with Adidas Eyewear.
Last but not least, our two favorite sections: This issue’s trip report is called “The Powder Pilgrimage”, a great story of the day to day life of Joey and James. Two young professionals that answered the call from the mountains to pursue a life of backcountry snowboarding, following their dreams. And the well-known Around The World section, with a few splitboarders talking about their home mountains and their life: Ettore Personnettaz (Italy), Colin Boyd (New Zealand), Jeff & Kelly Steele (USA) and Ivan “Bata” (Pyrenees).
