K2 Ultrasplit 14-15

It would be easy to stop at that, but with K2’s heritage in backcountry focused gear you know it comes without sacrificing any other needs. From 60,000 vertical foot expeditions through Washington’s Cascades to foreign ascents and descents in New Zealand, K2 Backside Collection Ambassador and team rider Kyle Miller has put the UltraSplit splitboard through the ringer and found the benefits of Bambooyah strength, integrated tip and tail skin attachment and unlimited Split Track stance options.

$ 699.95 includes: Hell riser, blend skins, canted voile puc compatible with Voile plates |  K2 Ultrasplit

Size tested: 158-161cm
Weigth: 3,10kg-3,56kg

K2 maintains last year’s model: a very light splitboard, with a big rocker, which helps to float on powder. It may lack a bit of personality but it’s definitely a good splitboard for all sorts of terrain and snow conditions. We really like the choice of stance adjustment you get with the Split Track, and the custom skins. It’s one of the most versatile splitboards in the market.
